Another local area on interest is the culture-rich Royal Wootton Bassett. The town rose to fame over the last decade because of the support and respect given to the brave servicemen and women who tragically lost their lives in defence of our country. The town was later the recipient of the Letters Patent from Princess Anne on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen and became Royal Wootton Bassett because of it's uniquely passionate repatriations over this period.
The Town also has it's attractions for families of all ages, including the Jubilee Lake, the 17th century Town Hall and the fantastic 15th century St. Bartholomew and All Saints Church.
